It is important to make sure the physical infrastructure of your SQL server’s disks, CPU, memory, etc., are healthy for proper functioning. To monitor the SQL Server, you have to add the SQL Servers manually into the portal.

Adding SQL servers

To add SQL servers to the BizTalk360 portal, you need to follow the below steps:

  1. Log in to BizTalk360 and Select the Particular environment
  2. Go to the Environment Settings page
  3. Select General dropdown
  4. Navigate to Manage SQL Server and click Add SQL Server
  5. In the SQL Server Names box, add the SQL Servers

You can still add the SQL Servers which are temporarily unavailable, but you will see some discrepancies in the monitoring dashboard(you cannot see the graph properly). However, it will work seamlessly once the server is reachable.

Once the SQL Server added for monitoring, you can monitor the resources.

If the SQL Server is removed, then all the monitoring configuration for that server will get removed.

Adding a Clustered SQL Server

To Monitor a cluster SQL Server, you need to add the SQL Server Network Name instead of the SQL Server name. BizTalk360 will automatically define the SQL Server added for monitoring as clustered or non-clustered.

The number of SQL Server you can monitor is based on the licensing tier.
Silver & Gold tier  -  2 SQL servers.
Platinum tier - 4 SQL servers.

Please contact license@biztalk360.com to monitor more SQL servers
