How To Update Service Accounts In BizTalk360?

Within BizTalk360, the service account needs to be updated in three places:
- IIS Application pool site
- BizTalk360 monitor services
- BizTalk360 Analytics services
Updating Service Account Within IIS Application Pool Site
- RDP to the server where BizTalk360 is installed
- Navigate to the IIS application pool
- Select BizTalk360 > Advanced Settings > Application Pool Identity > Custom user settings
- Enter the service account details and confirm
Updating Service Account Details Within BizTalk360 Monitoring Services
- RDP to the server where BizTalk360 is installed
- Navigate to BizTalk360 monitor services
- Select the Log on tab within properties window
- Enter the service account details
Updating Service Account Details Within BizTalk360 Analytics Services
- RDP to the server where BizTalk360 is installed
- Navigate to BizTalk360 analytics services
- Select the Log on tab within properties window
- Enter the service account details
If you have two environments, for instance, one is a production environment and other is a QA environment. The production environment has all the permissions to BizTalk server and BizTalk360 app pool and QA environment does not have the permissions to these and does not show the correct information about BizTalk environment information. If you face this issue in BizTalk360, follow the below steps to solve the problem -
BizTalk360 service account needs to be updated in below places for the particular environment
- IIS app pool site
- BizTalk360 monitor service
- BizTalk360 Analytics service
If you give the appropriate permissions, QA environment will be accessible and the correct data will be shown in BizTalk360.
