With BizTalk360, you can set up numerous alerts. However, there may be times when you want to take the environment down for maintenance or stop the alerts during holidays. This can be set up using the business holidays.
Follow the steps to configure business holidays:
Configure Business Holidays
BizTalk360 provides the capability to stop monitoring alerts during business holidays. For configuring the business holidays,
- Log in to the BizTalk360 application
- Click Settings located in the menu panel on the left side of the screen
- Click Notifications in the menu panel on the left side of the screen
- Click Business Holiday
- Click Add Business Holiday button for adding a new business holiday (you can add multiple calendars based on your need)
7. A new blade opens for the configuration of the following options
- Name – Name of the business holiday calendar
- Description – Description about the business calendar
- Status – option to Enable/Disable the business holiday
Calendar Configuration
You can choose the business holidays from the month and day drop-down.
Multiple days can be added by clicking the + button, and if you want to consider Saturday and Sunday for holidays, you can check the options too. Based on the configuration, maintenance will be stopped.
- Once the business holiday calendar is configured, you can save the configuration by clicking the Save Button
These business holiday calendars can be selected in the stop alert maintenance window to stop the monitoring.
Setting up Business Holidays
Once the holidays are configured you set up the maintenance mode during the business holidays . Follow below steps
- Navigate to Environment settings->Maintenance->click on Business Holiday tab
- Select the holiday list which you have configured. During these days alerting will stop automatically.
- Select the alarms to continue monitoring during maintenance – Select the alarms for which you don’t want to stop alerting during holidays
