Article Summary

In this article, we will explain the step-by-step process of requesting the Trial license and activating a trial license in BizTalk360.

If you are a first-time user of BizTalk360, you can install and evaluate BizTalk360 as a trial for 15 days. All you need to do is download the BizTalk360 MSI from the Free-Trial page on our website and fill out the form to get a 15-day trial license key.

You will receive an email from the BizTalk360 team with the license key details. After evaluating the product, if you are satisfied, you can opt to choose a license for BizTalk360 depending on your BizTalk environment setup. For more information on our pricing model, visit the Pricing page on our website.

Manual Trial License Activation (without Internet connectivity)

If you don't have an internet connection from the BizTalk360 server, you can follow the steps below.

Manually activating a Commercial/Trial License

There may be occasions when no internet connection is available for BizTalk administrators in their BizTalk environments. In this case, it gets difficult for administrators to activate a BizTalk360 license. To solve this problem, BizTalk360 has the capability for BizTalk administrators to be able to activate and deactivate the BizTalk360 license in the offline mode. In this section, we will see how to activate a BizTalk360 license manually. When there is no internet connectivity in the server where BizTalk360 is installed, the Licenses screen will display the following buttons - Get Manual Activation Code, Get Manual Deactivation Code, and Activate.

Note: You need internet connectivity on a separate machine (not on the machine where BizTalk360 is installed) to activate the license.

  1. Log in to BizTalk360 (as a Super user)

  2. A default environment will be created when you install BizTalk360 for the first time. If required, create a new environment for which you want to activate the license.

  3. Click Settings on the home page of BizTalk360

  4. Select License from the General tab

  5. In the environmental panel, select the Not Activated and select Get Manual Activate Code

  6. Navigate to the Trial tab and enter the Order Number and License Code from the License and Service Certificate issued by the BizTalk360 licensing team.

  7. Select Generate Request and it will lead to another tab which holds the generated license key.

  8. Copy the Hyperlink of the Manual license activation page or use https://www.biztalk360.com/manual-license-activation/ (Manual license activation page) and open the link on a browser where you have internet connectivity.

  9. Paste the generated license key inside the Activation text box and select Send.

  10. A License activation code will be generated with a new text box. Copy the License activation code.

  11. Navigate back to the BizTalk360 application, close the pop-up and go to the License page. Now choose the Activate option and a new pop-up will be opened.

  12.  Paste the License activation code and select the Active button.

  13. If the activation was successful, you will be navigated back to the Manage Licenses screen. The License Activation Status will display the status as Activated, the Product License Type will display the status as Trial, and the Expiry Status will be Active with the Expiry date.

Remove/Deactivate Trial license

A Trial License cannot be deactivated. You can only remove the trial key from an environment. To remove the license, follow the steps,

  • Log in to BizTalk360 (as a Super user)

  • Click Settings on the home page of BizTalk360

  • Select License from the General tab
