    Important updates

    Teams Webhook Connector is Deprecated!

    • End of 2024, Microsoft will deprecate the Office 365 connectors used within Teams, including the Webhook Connector. You may read about their announcements here. As a result of this change, the existing Webhook connector(s) will stop working.

    • Microsoft recommends using Power Automate Workflows to post messages to Teams Channels.

    • Migrating from the Connector to the Workflow will require some customization to ensure smooth integration of Teams with BizTalk360. For detailed steps on migrating to the Workflow, please refer to this document.  

    New features

    Integration of Automated Tasks with alarms

    Integration of Automated Tasks prevents the business process failure with proactive actions. Alarms trigger the automated tasks, when the threshold warning/error occurs at the resource level(Example: DB Query monitoring to reduce the Spool Size, Restart the host instances during the files stuck up in the receive location).

    Azure DevOps Notification Channel

    Push the monitoring notifications to the Azure DevOps Notification Channel. Configure the Personal Access Token and Organization Name to get access to the Azure DevOps board.

    Auditing the Monitoring configurations

    Capture the operational activities in monitoring configuration like Data Monitoring, Escalation Policies and Notification Channels in the Governance & Audit.

    Enhancements

    Administration

    • Implemented Out-of-Box subscriptions details for dynamic ports. The details about inside view ,Send handler mapping details for the dynamic send ports is shown.

    • Enhanced Filtering in Message Box and Tracking Queries: Filters such as Instance Status, Service Name, Service Class, and Application Names can now be applied multiple times, offering greater flexibility in refining search results.

    • Group by results from Message Box Queries now open in a new tab, similar to the BizTalk Admin Console

    • Column widths in Message Box Queries are now adjustable, providing better customization and readability of fixed columns.

    • Warning indications for unsaved queries are now based solely on user preferences.

    Monitoring

    • Configure threshold rules with various metrics to monitor Logic Apps consumption and receive notifications when thresholds are exceeded.

    • Enhanced the ServiceNow Notification Channel to support OAuth Authentication mode.

    • Implemented a clone option for web endpoints, to replicate along with monitoring configurations.

    Analytics

    • Host instance count, Artifact status, and Suspended Service instances data are now pushed to New Relic (APM Integration). These metrics can be visualized in a widget.

    Automated Task

    • Automate the enabling or disabling of artifact and pipeline tracking to simplify management tasks.

    • Automatically start or stop BizTalk applications within custom workflows.

    • Stop automated tasks from executing during system maintenance periods to ensure stability and prevent conflicts.

    • The output of PowerShell automated task executions is now shown in the notification and history , providing better visibility.

    General

    • Change the default main page when launching Biztalk360 (System Settings).

    • BizTalk360 Health Status - Check the service account credential status.

    • From the manage Environment, users can manage set the features they are using in the BizTalk environment.

    Installer

    • The BizTalk360 Installer now supports a repair option, enabling easier fixes for installation issues.

    • Links to troubleshooting and first launch configuration articles will pop up in case of installation failure, providing quick access to helpful resources.

    Bug fixes

    Below issues are addressed in this version

    Administration

    • Addressed the EDI Import/Export issue, when BizTalk server configuration is not configured in BizTalk360 Server.

    • Handled the XML special characters issue during BHM report generation.

    • Addressed Sub service exception during MBQ schedule execution due to Boolean value in settings key.

    Monitoring

    • Addressed the issue of SFTP monitoring prepopulated with the server name along with the username from the adapter properties.

    • Resolved the SFTP URI issue where BizTalk360 couldn't connect to an Absolute Path location starting with "\" when Default Remote Path was set.

    • Addressed the SQL network path not found" exception occurs while fetching NT services states in SQL Server Cluster.

    Analytics

    • In the Analytics performance collection throws BAMAlerts counters are not found in BizTalk360 logs.

    General

    • Handled the issue where user credentials did not pass to the next step during installation/upgrade when Active Directory was not reachable.

    • Fixed the issue where the BizTalk360 Installation folder path was not reflected in the installer.

    • Corrected the MESSAGE_GROUPBY property to be updated as '0' instead of "False" in the system settings.

    • Improved the performance of BizTalk360 Home page loading time.

    Installer

    • Cleared all logs and files after BizTalk360 uninstallation.

    • Removed BizTalk360 registry entries post-uninstallation to prevent previously installed paths from persisting in new installations.

    • Updated installation process to continue even if exceptions occur during AD account validation or when AD is not reachable.
