BizTalk360 monitoring service regularly collects the data once in a minute. The frequency of the monitoring polling interval can be controlled by setting the Polling Interval for the specific modules. This will, in turn, optimize the performance of the monitoring service run per cycle. Polling frequency of data collection is allowed to change from 1 to 60 minutes. The default value is 1 minute.

The polling interval can be set for the below modules

  • Logic Apps
  • API Apps
  • Web Endpoint
  • File
  • FTP
  • SFTP
  • MSMQ
  • Azure Service Bus Queue
  • IBM queue

For Instance, Consider, there are two environments configured for Monitoring in BizTalk360, And you want to check the status of both the environment components in different Polling Interval. Say 1 environment in 15 mins and another in 20 mins. The 1st Environment will collect the monitoring data for the configured modules once in 15 mins and the other in 20 mins.

Follow the below steps to configure Manage Polling Interval:

  • Log in to the BizTalk360 application

  • Click Settings (gear icon) located at the top right corner of the page

  • Click Monitoring and Notification in the Menu panel on the left side of the screen

  • Click 'Manage Polling Interval' which navigate to the Manage Polling Interval Section section

  • All the Active environments, will be listed in the Select Environment drop-down, Choose the Environment to configure the polling interval.

  • By Default, the Polling Interval is 1 minute for all the modules and that can be configurable as per the business need.
