Note: We updated the patch from 7.9.8200.2904 to 7.9.8400.0505 on May 5, 2015, since we noticed an issue due to a Windows security update. This wouldn’t have affected all users, but if you ever received an error message like “Could not load dll System.Web.MVC“, we advise you to upgrade to the latest build 7.9.8400.0505.

Bug Fixes

Reported IssueComments/Fix ProvidedSection in BizTalk360
Filter value changes to the default value (first value in the list)Once the data monitor is set up (with the appropriate filter values) and the artifact is removed physically from the BizTalk Admin Console, when the user tries to edit the saved data monitor, the value in the filter reverts back to the default value (i.e.) the first value in the dropdown. This issue is now fixed and if any artifact is removed, user will notice a warning message in the UI suggesting that the artifact no longer exists. When the user changes the value in the dropdown, the error message will disappear. Users can no longer save a data monitor when the error message persists.Data Monitoring (All sections)
Date/Time Filter value is not retained after saving the Data MonitorWhen the data monitor is saved with the date/time value in “Based on Query result with date/time range” under “How do you want to check?” section, when the user tries to edit the saved data monitor, the value in the date/time column is reverted back to the default value. This issue is now fixed and the value in the date/time column remains the same after saving the data monitor.Data Monitoring (All sections)
Lack of visual cue while stopping an applicationWhen a user stops an application, there was no visual cue indicating whether the application was successfully stopped or not. This issue is now fixed and a tick mark appears next to the operation that was performed indicating that the operation executed successfully. Similarly, when starting an application, once the first operation is completed (Enlist and Start All Orchestrations) and the second operation executes (Enlist and Start All Send Ports), the tick mark against the first operation still remained. This issue is fixed and the visual cue does not remain forever after the operation completes.Applications
Extra space in error description filter shows actual count to be 0When there are spaces (leading & trailing) while entering the information in the error description filter, the actual count is displayed as 0 in the Message Box Data Execution Results section. This issue is now fixed and the system is now capable of trimming down unwanted spaces.Data Monitoring > Message Box Data
BAM View table data is not refreshed automatically while selecting a new queryIn the Business Activity Monitoring (BAM) section, once a saved query is opened and ‘Execute Query’ is clicked, and another query is opened immediately, the values in the table are not refreshed automatically. The same values from the previous results are displayed. This issue is now fixed and the table values get automatically refreshed.Business Activity Monitoring
Validation message persists even after closing & opening the windowWhen no values are entered while creating an event log, the system displays a validation error message. But when the user closes and opens the event log window, the error message still persists. This issue is fixed and the validation message no longer persists once the window is closed.Monitoring & Notification > BizTalk Server/SQL Server > Event Log
Able to save HP Operations Manager settings without entering the passwordThe user was able to save the HP Operations Manager settings even when the password field was left blank. This issue is fixed and the password field is now made Mandatory. The settings do not get saved without the value in the password field.Settings > Monitoring & Notifications > HP Operations Manager
Validation message persists even after saving the informationWhen no values are entered while adding the HP Operations Manager settings, the system displays a validation error message. But when the user saves the HP Operations Manager with the exact values, the error message still persists. This issue is fixed and the validation message no longer persists once the save or verify button is clicked.Settings > Monitoring & Notifications > HP Operations Manager
Tool tip length exceeds into the dashboardWhen the monitor name had a lengthy name, the text exceeded the tool tip area bounds and entered into the dashboard. This issue is now fixed and all the text get automatically wrapped within the bounds of the tool tip. This fix also applies to the tool tip in the results pop-up screen in the dashboard.Data Monitoring Dashboard
